SSide Yard
Side-yard fences behind the front wall of the house may be up to 6 ft tall. On a corner lot, the exterior side yard (facing the side street) is treated like a second front yard and is capped at 4 ft.
BBackyard
Back-yard fences may be up to 6 ft tall. All supporting posts, rails, and hardware must face the inside of your lot — the finished side faces outward or the fence is designed so both sides look finished.
