Side-yard fences may be up to 6.5 ft tall and must sit entirely on your own property. Property corners must be marked by a Michigan-licensed surveyor before installation.
BBackyard
Rear-yard fences may be up to 6.5 ft tall — privacy styles are allowed. All fence materials must be rated to hold up to rust and deterioration for at least 10 years.
